Each year MediLodge of Sterling is proud to offer several special events to our residents and local community.: |
Every September we host a big celebration as a way of saying “thank you” to the community. We invite everyone from the surrounding area and provide fun and entertaining activities, such as:

In July, along with St. Mary’s Hospital, we sponsor the Senior Olympics in Standish. Elders from three local counties compete in events such as:

Distance walking |
At this event we also offer health screenings, box lunches, entertainment, quilt displays, antique car show, and craft demonstrations. This fun and educational event is free and open to the entire community. |

The MediLodge Group (LINK) is proud to sponsor our annual Senior Prom. Residents, staff, and family members from all MediLodge homes from Hillman to Monroe attend an elegant afternoon dinner/dance hosted in the Metro Detroit area. We transport our guests in comfort and convenience in our 14-passenger bus, offering door-to-door service.
The Prom includes top-notch entertainment, such as the Contours (a Motown band from Detroit), delicious gourmet food, and dancing. Following the family-style luncheon, a drawing is conducted to select the king and queen of the prom. |

MediLodge of Sterling participates in the Iosco, Arenac, and Ogemaw County Fairs each year. We are proud to provide entertainment, support livestock auctions, and offer other free events. We also sponsor Senior Day at the Arenac County Fair, at which seniors are admitted free to both the fair and entertainment. |
